Anarthas (unwanted things in heart) Vs Sins

Anarthas are in a separate category according to our Acharyas. They are separate category than sin. Jiva Goswami teaches that sin can be neutralized to the root by bhakti, you engage in bhakti and it destroys sin and the reaction of sin and even to the root, the tendency for sin. However Anarthas (unwanted things) are more pernicious or more difficult to address because anartha has the power to block the power of bhakti.
