Fear and Fearlessness

Fear is one of the propensities and is one of the six gates to hell. It is an animal propensity and prominent. It is discussed in Prahalad’s prayers extensively and several times. Fear and fearlessness. So, this fearlessness position is the spiritual position, Vaikuntha position no anxiety, no fear. So, minimally beyond the bodily conception. Bodily conception is false and a bad name and doesn’t exist, because we only think it exists, because although it is a brahan. The fear is because you don’t understand that you are bramhan because there is nothing to fear because all it is brahman and the Vaishnava conception is while we are doing the activities in the temporary world there is danger and it varies, the greatest danger referring again to Prahalad’s instruction is the bad association. Association of people whose qualities are such that it blocks or obscures, minimises our thoughtfulness of the supreme. Because the frutive activities does the same thing. Frutive activities like not going to school or office in your life. Or how ever you live your life, but frutive activities, when all the activities become spiritual activities then the bodily conception fear is gone, obscuring the supreme personality is gone. Then one becomes fearless. Because one understands Krishna always protects even in calamity. Doesn’t mean you will not have calamity but even in calamity. The protection of the supreme lord is there because we know He is kind to His devotees, He is Bhaktavatsala. And the devotee is completely dependent on that merciful Lord. That brings fearlessness doesn’t prevent calamity. Even in the case of calamity the protection of the lord is there. Our wellbeing is secure because Krishna is very kind to His devotees and we know that. As one goes beyond the fruitive notion. The activity the consciousness behind the activity becomes different. Bhakti service to the supreme. So, we become responsible to Krishna.
