Reason for blockage from chanting of the Holy name

By what is one blocked from pure chanting of the holy name?

Answer is Anarthas. Anarthas arise from three sources according to Haridasa thakur.
1. Thirst for the impermanant or attachment to the temporary ‘asat trisnaa’
2. ‘Hrdaya dourbalyam’ we know better but do the wrong thing anyway
3. ‘aparaadh’ , impurities of  heart that block the pure chanting of the Holy name
