What is the root cause of all suffering?

What is the root of all karma? or what is the root cause of material existence? The root cause of all suffering is ignorance and the original root of ignorance is ignoring Krishna. So, when there is ignorance there are some activities of ignorance and then from activities of ignorance comes karmic bondage. How do you get out of that root? Its not just matter of snipping of the leaves because if the root is there it will be still growing. How do you uproot the problem? It is by Krishna consciousness.
